Its been a while since the last update. Soon we will have new major update introducing the newly created character race (a.k.a. vocation). In total there will be three races to choose from and every of them will have different bonuses. Also, depending on your chosen race your fortress NPCs will be looking either dwarves, elves or humans. By default, all old player accounts will be human race.
Humans:
Wizardry barrack troops 20% stronger
5% harvest more resources
Elves:
Archery barrack troops 20% stronger
Resource buildings 15% cheaper to build and upgrade
Dwarves:
Knight barrack troops 20% stronger
Military buildings, troop levelup, building upgrades 10% cheaper
All troops 5% cheaper to recruit
